NEWS January 2012 This year HANNI & NANNI 2, the 2nd installment of the successful German children movie, will start in cinemas. Andreas orchestrated the music composed by Alex Geringas and Joachim Schlüter. Thanks to Heiko Music for the great support! And, great news: Andreas’ score for the film REPITU has won the SHORTCUTZ BERLIN AWARD in the category BEST ORIGINAL MUSIC! November 2011 On October 27 the film HOTEL LUX by director Leander Haußmann, starring Michael ‘Bully’ Herbig, started in cinemas. Andreas co-orchestrated the music by Ralf Wengenmayr, performed by the Filmorchestra Babelsberg. Furthermore Andreas was arranger & orchestrator of the music by Floros Floridis for the film EL AMIGO ALEMÁN and orchestrator of the music by Christine Aufderhaar for the TV fairytale movie DER EISENHANS (broadcasted on ZDF (2nd German Television) on december 24). Both scores have also been recorded with the Filmorchestra Babelsberg. Again Andreas wrote new arrangements for the brass ensemble “Hauptstadtblech”, performed during the presentation of the DB AWARD 2011. August 2011 On October 9 the new Stage Entertainment Musical DROOMVLUCHT (DREAM FLIGHT) has its Premiere in Efteling (Netherlands). Andreas wrote the orchestrations for the music composed by Martin Lingnau. The orchestral music was recorded with the National Slovak Symphony Orchestra in Bratislava. Click here for infos about the musical (in Dutch). DROOMVLUCHT Scoring Session Bratislava (click to enlarge) July 2011 At the beginning of July Andreas was score reader during the orchestra scoring sessions for the ARD TV movie THE MAN WITH THE BASSOON, the film adaptation of the correspondent novel by Udo Jürgens and Michaela Moritz. The Music was written by Udo Jürgens and Nic Raine.
